So, here we done with specification comparison of both devices. Both devices are made from metal uni body. And by size to size comparison both devices are identical twins. Both devices packs a 5.5 inches, stunning AMOLED, able to provide best viewing experience and better color contrast ratio.
Both smartphones have same Full HD (1080 x 1920 pixels) resolution, which is approx 401 ppi. Means this both are able to produce smooth picture quality.
What the factor, which differentiate devices from each other is chipset. OnePlus 3, the only 5 month older from new 3T, consist of Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 on board. While the new 3T have improved version of previous, Qualcomm Snapdragon 821. Also SD 820 was launched in a year ago in November, 2016. The OnePlus 3 and 3T also have quad core CPU of almost same frequency. But here SD 821 is what boost the performance of 3T. as SD 821 is improved version of SD 820, this enhance performance of app loading by 10 percent less time consumption. Also SD 821 takes 10 percent lesser boot time compared to SD 820. SD 821 is also 5 percent more efficient at power management. Both have same GPU on board.
OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T packs same camera module at their back. Both are of 16 mp, f/2.0 wide and OSI enabled. Good enough to capture wide angle photos and video in outdoor and indoor conditions. Selfie camera of both is quite different. OnePlus 3 has only 8 MP selfie shooter in front, while OnePlus 3T got 16 MP selfie shooter in front. But when we have more megapixels means each pixels are small in size, and hides details of image. Also 3T camera is not wide as wide of other phones do have. So it is cool to take single selfie, but faces some difficulties for group selfies.
Also both giant have 6 GB of RAM, OnePlus 3 only comes with 64 GB of internal storage, when OnePlus 3T offers two variants, 64 GB and 128 GB for buyers. It is little sad that OnePlus had not an option of expansion slot.
Both smartphones packs good juice inside them. OnePlus 3 have 3000 mAh battery packed inside, on other hand OnePlus 3T packs little bigger, 3400 mAh of battery inside. Both batteries are not replaceable by user. Both smartphones supports DASH Charger, OnePlus' own fast charging system.
Dash Charge claims to be second fastest charger in world available right now after Qualcomm's Fast charge V 3.0. Dash charge claims to charge 63% of your battery just in 30 min time. Which is extremely fast than other flagship phones.
Recently, both devices are available with an Android 6.0 based Oxygen OS inside the box. OnePlus is planning to update 3T with latest Android Nougat in recent, and OnePlus 3T will also receive update very soon.
Now we come to price comparison. In June, 2016 OnePlus 3 was launched with price tag of 399 USD, which is roughly 28000 INR, for all color options available. And the OnePlus 3T is launched with price tag of 439 USD(29800 INR) and 489 USD(32500 INR) for both 64 GB and 128 GB variant respectively, for both color options.
FINAL WORDS
So, here we undergone through detailed discussion of both OnePlus smartphones. We seen that both have something similarities and some difference. So, if we compare both smartphones with other company's flagships, OnePlus definitely wins here. Because if you are going to buy Galxy S7 or Google Pixel XL or iPhone 7 plus, you nearly have to pay 800 USD, but OnePlus offer same quantities at almost half price. And I am sure that you are getting something more from these two.
In my opinion, if you are planing to buy other flagship, but you don't want to spend more money, then you must go with these. You won't be disappoint.
